April 24, 2010: Steger moccasins (http://www.mukluks.com/ – looks like the most expensive pairs are only $300, not $500-600), sorry vegetarians/vegans listening, Como Park Zoo & Conservatory (polar bear exhibit actually opens on June 3, 2010, it was the “Earth Day Weekend†celebration), State Theatre/Anthony Bourdain show, Minneapolis Art Institute, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Francis Ford Coppala wines, Bourdain was a guest judge on Top Chef (I couldn’t remember while recording), Neil Gaiman at Stillwater Junior High, writing, some of my creative ventures, amigurumi, interview coming up, and weekend plans.

Hello Sarje. Just wanted to say thank you for a great show (this would be my first Sarje show) and for introducing me to mukluks. I checked out their web-site and have to say that their boots are so much nicer than the Uggs that everyone in NYC wears. Also, I like the fact that the boots are rated by temperatures i.e., -10 F, -20 F and for purpose such as everyday wear, icefishing, dogsledding, etc. Sounds like a boot you can rely on.

Hi Bridgit! Thanks so much for listening. The mukluks are definitely worth the price, as some people have been known to wear them for years, and they are exceptionally comfortable. To my eye they’re pretty stylish, too. 🙂
Thanks again for listening and commenting!
