The Darien Gap… I learned about this a while ago. Lot’s of people have crossed with Jeeps and trucks. The most interesting crossing I heard about was in the 1960’s, General Motors launched a publicity stunt to cross with 3 Corvairs. Now it sounds like this area is home to paramilitary groups and drug traffickers – probably not a dream vacation spot!
