  3. Great job on the trumpet sound!

Marc, I have not forgotten you (per the email from earlier in the week) I am still formulating ideas.

  4. Thanks Jimbo,
Yes, hours and hours of blowing into various objects to achieve the perfect toot-ment.

Truth be said, I bore myself after about 7.5 minutes, so have to distract myself with program breaks, sounders, ID’s and actual content!

  5. We decided that the length of the show should be based on the average commute time (more or less) with 30 minutes being the target.

Without images to look at, anything over 45 minutes is going to be a challenge where holding someone’s attention is concerned unless what they’re listening to is a story —like an audio book.

We also wanted to do everything we could to make our show something anyone could easily listen to in one sitting without distractions like balancing a checkbook, taking a phone call from a divorce lawyer, surfing porn, or going into the kitchen to open a can of breakfast chili while the show is still going on.

Besides, we barely have the time (and sometimes energy) to do a 30-minute show!

  8. Hey you guys, I was KIDDING. Really. Seriously. Uh huh.

  9. Seriously tho —

I can’t be funny or interesting for 9 hours!

And there’re only two things I want to do for 9 hours straight —

    • Sleeping

    • Bowling

    (Don’t judge me)
