  2. I can remember buying my Dad handkerchiefs, nice dressy white ones, for Christmas, and I personally had some of those red (and possibly blue) bandanas that you could tie around your neck and pretend you were a cowboy. (Or an outlaw, if you pulled it up over your nose.)

    Burt Gordon’s Mad Russian was also on Duffy’s Tavern quite a bit, among other shows. Would love to see that movie with Gordon & Harry von Zell. I always thought it was weird that Burns & Allen had two characters named Harry, but I guess that was because the Harry Morton character was created while Bill Goodwin was still the announcer, before he was replaced by von Zell.

  4. Thanks, that was a fun Saturday morning watch! Not sure if that bit at the beginning with Harry von Zell and Harlow Wilcox was actually part of the movie, or just a promo. It was fun, though!
