Yeah, Shep wanted to be a stage/screen/visual performer and later in his life spoke with a very deep disdain for his days as a ‘Radio Man’. A shame that he didn’t get recognition for what he did best….
The videos are fun, but the radio shows are a whole other incomparable universe.

Cool hearing about your experience seeing Squeeze & Cheap Trick. Great bands! It sounds like your concert experience was similar to mine when I saw the big Police reunion (@ Wrigley Field/Chicago) a few years ago. I mean that in that you get that rare opportunity to finally see a band you grew up loving…and (in my case) I never thought that opportunity would ever happen in my lifetime! You can’t pass up concerts like that.
