YAY – Crumb is legendary! I actually briefly co-responded with him when I was cartooning. Most of his comix work is contained in the ‘Complete’ series and is the best series for you to get that full effect. Also you will find that most of his work is in delicious black and white. His band is/was the Cheap Suit Serenaders and they do superb old timey ‘string band’ style music! Another fun show!!

I picked up my first of the Complete series, Fritz the Cat last week. Great stuff. That’s very cool that you able to co-respond with him, I got the impression from the Crumb Documentary that he keeps to himself and doesn’t go out of his way to be very social. You should post some of your cartoons on the forum, I’d love to see them.

I enjoyed the show Wayne. I watched and liked the Crumb movie. He is a very unique character. Did’nt realize the Quiet Riot took so many songs from Slade. Onsug meetup news looks like the weekend of Sept 18-19 will be when Roel is in our area. He will know for sure soon.
