Day 1 (Dec 2007) – Track 43 – 5:01 PM (17:01:03)
The Overnightscape Underground (onsug.com) – “An audio world to discover and explore.”
Created by Frank Edward Nora (frank@theovernightscape.com) in New Jersey, USA
——————————
MyVirtualBand.com was a website that began in late 2004 and closed in early 2007. On the site, musicians collaborated to create songs by uploading and downloading audio tracks. All the audio tracks on the site were released under the Creative Commons Attribution 2.0 license, which means that you can do pretty much what you want with the audio as long as you give credit to those who created it. There were 113 “featured songs” on the site, and a much greater number of songs “in progress”. Even though the site has shut down, the music from the site is still under the same license – which allows the songs to be re-released here in The Overnightscape Underground!

Lyrics:
With the morning sun blazing in the sky
And the moon is singing bye-bye
I can feel the warmth reaching down from high
And it’s burning into my eyes
I feel today will be my day
All things will turn and go my way
I’ll find a song to sing and play
If not I’ll surely fade away
Don’t let me fade…
I’ll just hold on
And I’ll sing on
And I’ll play until I’ve finally found my place
I feel today will be my day
All things will turn and go my way
Go my way
Go my way
Go my way
Go my way
Well the morning has stretched out into noon
And the colors have faded to blue
I’m still searching for my tune
For a sound that just might carry me through
I feel today will be my day
All things will turn and go my way
I’ll find a song to sing and play
If not I’ll surely fade away
Fade away
Don’t let me fade
Fade away
Don’t let me fade away
Don’t want to fade away
Fade away
No don’t fade away
But I’ll just hold on
And I’ll sing on
And I’ll play until I finally find my way
I feel today will be my day
