Released December 2010 on The Overnightscape Underground (onsug.com), an Internet talk radio channel focusing on a freeform monologue style, with diverse and fascinating hosts.
was this sarcasm irony type thing? it didnt really tickle any funny bones, but i think i see what your aiming for.
might work more visually like the office type comedy showing the underbely of some faul american attitudes.
for audio, it doesnt translate too well, but you can hear the effort put into it, editing and such.
the character is mainly annoying, i guess shes supposed to be, but funny annoying would be better, just annoying makes u switch off.
ummm maybe well grow to love her, just my 2 sense, my three sense is free.
i prefer listening to normal people any day though, i think thats what the onsug is bringing, a dollop of educated reality views on the unreality which envelopes
its philosophy…lol yeah check out that sentance.
ok im going now bye,

Not sure this is a good fit for the Underground. Seems more like a commercial project aimed at a women’s audience. We are neither commercial or female.

Well it’s certainly different, but how many of us would have been judged well on our first ever podcast, especially if it’s less than three minutes ling? My first one hundred shows sucked big time! 🙂

It’s a hit when people who spell “cents” as “sense” write a novel in response to a two minute podcast! I’m sure it took him longer to write that response than to listen to the show. As for Wayne, you are actually saying there is no place for a woman on the onsug site? You are actually calling this a gay site? I think most people here would differ with you. But it’s interesting to see things through your lavendar-colored glasses. And as for Neal, your shows never sucked, haha. You’re really going to like the next webisode in which Alicia comes out in support of airport patdowns, as long as she gets to choose the guy who feels her up.

Alicia is a cartoon character – and I for one am happy to finally have an Animated-American represented here on the channel! So may be better to look at it as akin to fiction or radio drama – of which there are several other examples on ONSUG. And Peter does do a monologue show (418 Show) on the station here – and this is a side project of his. Anyway, it’s all just weirdness in the night – which is what Overnightscape is all about exploring…

I’m hearing Zappas, Valley Girl playing in the background of that episode. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnVE3UTIgEM

Very Kauffman-esque. It sorta comes off in the same vain.

No I don’t think ONSUG is a gay site, but if it was that would be fine, Haha! Of course there should be women on the network also. Nothing against the podcast, I was just stating it seems more like a soap opera then talk radio. Perhaps I’ve judged to soon and I like Frank’s take on it. Another audio drama for the site, when I think of it that way I say right on.
