  1. In the current economy of fear and shortages, sirens are good for certain businesses. They
Reinforce the need for more body scanners, more surveillance, smart grids, larger police and fire
Department budgets, more and more vaccines and cameras everywhere so they can keep an eye
on things for us to keep us safe.
This translates into bloated contracts between corporations that supply these things
    And local governments.

There is a lot of money to be made in the fear and security related industries.

  2. Even if people believe the lines in the sky are from airplane exhaust, why are they okay with that?? Why are people fine with giants lines of pollution filling the skies? Whether it’s jet exhaust or chemicals, it’s still poison either way! Why are people so complacent and quick to turn a blind eye to very obvious things?

Also, if the planes really are spraying chemicals, what’s the purpose? I don’t mean that sarcastically, I’m genuinely interested in why it’s being done.

Regarding “Him”… the effeminate devil character on the Powerpuff Girls cartoon show was also named Him. And if “hey” equals 11, then “hey hey hey” must equal 11 11 11. If you add that up, you get 6. “Hey” times three…6 times three…666. Is that too much of a reach?

I think the problem with the Overnightscape Underground is the disorganization. Very simply, each show should have its own category (for example, The Frank Nora Show should be in the Frank Nora Show category). That way, the categories become links or portals to each show. Go to http://twit.tv and look at the left column. If onsug.com were set up similarly to that site, it’d be a huge help.

On the subject of TWiT: Tekzilla is hosted by Patrick Norton, who worked with Leo Laporte on ZDTV/TechTV and is a frequent guest on Leo’s This Week in Tech podcast. 🙂
