Frank does a “practice show” in the main studio of WFMU, to get used to the equipment and the setup of the studio. To learn how to use the phone system, he takes a number of phone calls, including Manny the Mailman, Danny the Mailman, and Michael Stanton in Washington, D.C. to meet with lawmakers on Postal Service issues. Also phone calls with Jerry Greene, The Forager, Frank’s brother John, Mystery Caller #3, Clive Swersky, Spike, Spooky from Texas, and a lot of folks trying to reach the Tom Scharpling show.

the man told me he was andy kaufman. twice. who is he really and why is he trying to make me go crazy? LOL I’ll try to find the logs where he told me he was andy kaufman. there’s lots of conversations with a lot of different people but i don’t think that he said it out loud in the main chatroom. soon as i find it i’ll post it and y’all can get some idea of the context of the conversation, which i would love to relive myself so i can remember the context. around the time when i was shown information in the andy kaufman game that suggested elvis lives and began to seriously consider the possibility, stealth popped up on myspace and asked to be my friend. maybe he’s elvis. haha 😀

I really enjoyed this show. Even by sitting off the air in the WFMU studio, magical stuff starts happening.

Frank, thanks for letting my friends chat with you. They were very impressed by you and the predict bigs things for your future on the radio. The rest of the show was very good.
