Great episode. PQ, I remember Allen Burke on Channel 13 late at night in black and white. For some reason that dude and his creepy beard scared the crap out of little Manny.

If you listen carefully to some of the audio collage on the third Bug Out, there are bits from when I got to phone in and talk to Alan Burke when he sat in for Bob Grant at some point in the 80s. He was one of the original talk hosts who would take their guests to task if he disagreed, him and Joe Pyne pretty much invented this screaming/yelling take on the talk show. However, unlike people like, say, Morton Downey Jr, Burke was truly a very brilliant man.
