entropia is the meta-verse you are looking for, with the crytek engine 2 it is very close to the graphics you are talking about on uncharted 3 which is the unreal engine 3. it would be much better if they used crytek engine 3 and i guess they will update to that at some stage.
they say that the ps3 cannot run crysis at full graphics so they had to modify it especially for the ps3 release. unreal 3 engine is very close to crytek 3 engine. anyhoo the hardware is important as you would need a high end computer with new graphics cards to really see the graphics but if u watch some of the hd you tubes with high graphics on of entropia
youll get the idea, so far its the closest meta verse we have to the gaming world. google crytec engine 3 vs unreal engine 3 to see the differences. There needs to be more improvements but its the closest so far.
