  1. After listening to your shows for a couple years now, I’m still amazed how late you get to work everyday. My husband tends to be the same way unless I am home to make him breakfast and get him up before 9am. That doesn’t happen often as I work full time also. I usually get to work around 8am and have a bowl of raisin bran for breakfast, which is inexpensive, healthy, quick, and easy. To mix things up, I’ll add bananas or strawberries. TV… hmm, we’re lost on Lost! We have the shows to watch when we are in the mood but can’t get back into the show. It’s nice to hear the snippets from you so thanks for that 🙂 Never been interested in any type of reality TV. I’m enjoying your shows, new and old. Thanks for all the great listening material! Enjoy your day 🙂

  2. Frank,

Hello, listening and enjoying all these ramplers. Thanks for the funny rants on your daily travels, hearing about the guy in the bathroom with his pants down was a laugh. Once I walked into a bathroom and a bum guy was sitting on the urinal doing #2 I believe, like you as soon as my peripheral vision recognized the troubling situation I spun around and left.

I feel like lost is getting further away from me each episode, like I’m drifting away from understanding the big picture rather than pulling it into focus. It’s been a great season, but the greatness comes at the cost of more and more confusion.

Its a weird tension that is enjoyable and although i hope they can wrap it all up, I know that there is little chance for that process to meet my expectations, which brings up the interesting point, similar to “What is Quality”, and that is “What do we want from our profound entertainment?” What do I want a book, film, music to do for me?

What can lost really achieve, can it be anymore or less than Life on Mars. This whole Descartes thing, the whole matrix thing.
Right! it’s not real, got it, but what next.

  4. Sorry to hear the iPhone thing messed up your stats methods! It changed my way of listening though and was mildly revolutionery!

Still listening to every episode, often on the day of release, sometimes (as this week) I build up a few day’s worth to listen in bulk.
