I remember the movie The Game. I watched it when it came out in 1997. Very on the edge of your seat kinda movie. Worth the watch!!! For me… this was not a PEP 😉 I look forward to hearing about the future of Nightstation. I was disappointed that I didn’t push myself to do a patch when the site was up and going. I will most definitely participate in the future! I remember sometime in my past, there were pirate radio ships also but I don’t remember what year. Didn’t realize that happened in 1967! Wowie! That must be some great audio!!!

the ‘Granny’ of granny glasses was likely the one from the Beverley Hillbillies. Yeeeeee Doggies!! That’s how I remember it, anyhow.

Frank, when you start talking about how old grannies would be in what year, it was an amazing pep like feeling for me, because I listened to this yesterday and had talked about similar ideas on overnightscape centrals 1981 episode. I think about that often.

I remember The Game too. I don’t think I enjoyed it quite as much as Carrie, but it was good. I looked through a high school yearbook of mine not too long ago, and I would swear that some of those people I had never seen before in my life. Faulty memory or past-editing? And a friend of mine from high school mentioned a couple of people that sparked absolutely no memory for me, people we supposedly sat with at lunch a lot. So there could be something to this PEP thing…
Auntie’s Municipal Court is a great song, one of my favorite Nesmith compositions. “Sound of the sunset, sound of the sea…” There was another Monkees song using the word Auntie that you’re forgetting: Your Auntie Grizelda.
