59:21 – Those who are willing and able to listen to this hour-long recording will get to hear how a Chinese knock-off of a classic Sony transistor radio came into my possession recently. The episode also features a few recordings of a local radio station that were picked up with said recorder. And finally there is my effort to describe what the terrestrial radio cross-casting ds106 radio assignment, as alluded to in the previous blog post, might entail.

54:20 – Back in Episode 8, my guest Anthony Hamilton spoke about how our thoughts connect us to our past, our present and our future as explained in his book, Mind, Time and Power! Using your mind’s inner time machine to heal your past, transform your present and create your future. Anthony has returned to talk more about his theories, including how the two sides of our brain work in using the Law of Attraction, how questions are like footprints, thinking of the future as being effortless, what MAGIC means to him, and more details about Einstein’s theories about time and space.
Meanwhile, here’s something else from my vision board that has manifested itself effortlessly into my life – taking my family to see “Weird Al” Yankovic!

1:19:08 - I hadn’t realized that my first podcast, Tokyo Calling, began eight years ago this month until I was recording the opening segment of my new podcast: scottlo calling.  It seems like a lifetime ago. And in many ways, it was.
So here I am in a new place with a new job and starting a new life and am compelled to again experiment with audio.
I’m afraid I don’t feel similarly compelled to write extensive show notes at present. It seems best to let listeners, if any, figure out what this is and what it’s about. I will however try to post relevant web links when appropriate.
The song played during the podcast was created by dlusionz and can be found on Sound Cloud and is titled Dreaming of the Middle East.
The book mentioned at a couple of points during the episode is “The Phenomenon of Man†and was written by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin.
