Suzanne’s Diary for Nicholas

57:55 – Topics for this episode: “Imagine life is a game in which you are juggling five balls.” How I discovered ‘Suzanne’s Diary for Nicholas’ through the movie adaptation, and the learnings I drew from the original novel by James Patterson (James Patterson’s other works, juggling five balls and the ‘work’ ball, jeapordising areas of life, enjoying work and moving on, quotes from the book and my viewpoint and takeaways), audio from late night train ride, summer in Australia and how it’s never quite the end.

Snake Tea 24: Walks of Daily Life (10/7/15)

Talking as I walk huff huff

33:18 – Topics for this episode: Snippets of audio taken while going about daily life, including topics like ballet flats, listening to podcasts, daylight savings, not changing much since primary school, travelling as a student in Sydney, the right to sit on the train, what I dislike about hot weather (bugs, no air conditioning, finding free air conditioning), trying out Sultana Bran and whether I liked it (eating with milk, and/or with fruit), taking the ‘male’ role at an all girls’ school and chivalry, broken things at home, heat or cold or weather affecting doors, a false ending to the episode then bad smells about the office and finding vermin.

Saved From Oblivion (016) – Quiet Please: The Thing on the Fourble Board (10/5/15)

RenderedImage (24:24) This strangely-named episode of Quiet Please probably holds the rank of the ‘creepiest OTR episode ever’. Without giving away too much, this is a story about an oil derrick worker who finds something very unusual. The show’s ending is quite unexpected and will blow you away. All of this (and Jimbo’s intro) in less than 25 quick minutes. You will enjoy this one. I’ll even bet you will want to share it with someone as well.
