36:50 – Welcome to Tape Land! On each episode, I’ll present the audio of a cassette tape from my collection. It’s a way to help motivate me to digitize more of my archives.

I made this tape driving home in the middle of the night after one of the NAVA video game collectors meetings at Video Game Connections in Howell, NJ. I recorded “Classictronica: Arcade Memories (3/2/02)” at that meeting (available in Onsug). On the drive, I’m talking my ideas for “Obliviana Wander Radio”, an early concept of what would eventually become Onsug. A lot of my ideas here are based on technological limitations in 2002 that no longer exist.

Coughlin, the radio priest who influenced many across America, Catholic and non-Catholic alike, through his weekly broadcasts from the Shrine of the Little Flower in Royal Oak, Michigan. Last time we examined some of his political views and his defense against charges of anti-Semitism.
