Vic and Sadecast 080 – The Letter-writing Plot (11/19/17)

grSUNDAY (17:19) Rush’s cousin Euncie outsmarts Sade (a difficult thing to do) and puts an end to the continual letter-writing. Meanwhile, the folks at Crisco are cooking up a “spicy pineapple pie”. It’s digestible.

  1. Vic is pretty darn poetic for an accountant, don’t you think? First he notes that Rush and Euncie “were yoked miserably together with chains of loathsome correspondence,” then he rips off a silly little four-line rhyme, and finally he summarizes Euncie’s letter as, “A leaf torn at random from the notebook of life.” (That last little gem perfectly summarizes each and every Vic and Sade episode, it seems to me.) With thoughts like these running through his head, it’s no wonder he has trouble paying attention to what’s going on around him.

  2. I tell ya what would be fun: a book that just were Vic’s lines. that would be some fun reading.

  4. A reader’s digest, so to speak?

  5. I do like it when Rush stands up to Sade… I’m reminded of the episode when he stands up to Sade for volunteering him for that play.

  6. I don’t know if we would like it if he did it all the time, though. And there is this script which may also change your mind.
