Sorry to keep you awake, but thanks for the comment. Not to add to your sleeplessness but your guess is incorrect.
The idea spawned from a variety of sources, one of the largest was Franks ventures into ambient territory and I really like ambient recordings as well. It’s kinda like a book in the sense that you get to visualize what you want.

I’ll keep working on it.
I love ambient sounds too. When I visited my son in Taiwan last year, I
put my recorder on his apartment window sill and recorded the
ambient sounds quite often. I also recorded ambients on the high speed rail, in taxi cabs and
on the plane at take off. I love it!
