45:30 – Welcome to Tape Land! On each episode, I’ll present the audio of a cassette tape from my collection. It’s a way to help motivate me to digitize more of my archives.
God’s Ass was an audio project I briefly worked in in the mid 1990s – probably sometime from 1994 to 1996. The idea was to collect my old childhood recordings (from the 70s and 80s) and repackage them as a kind of weird audio experience – actually quite similar to this current Tape Land project.
I previously released the first two parts in Tape Land 71 – God’s Ass I & II (Mid 1990s). This third part is full of more bizarre, surprising, and disturbing audio. Get ready for a window into some weird times of the mid 1980s!
Some of the audio (0:00:48 to 0:13:40) was previously released in Tape Land 25 – W (XHE Extra High Energy 90) (circa 1980)
