ffhv - Copy (1:54:45) Welcome to The Frank Nora Time Machine (Hosted by Jimbo)

The Overnightscape runs two hours now (in history) and so, I’ve at least cut that in half.  It’s a maddening job.  Still, great content by Nora.

Keystone Victrola: Lum and Abner, Set #2 (6/19/15)

keystone lum

1:35:54 – More fun with Lum Edwards (Eddards) and Abner Peabody! We get to actually follow a continuing storyline (for the most part – there is a gap between 1/25/35 and 1/30/35). A little deception in launching their matrimonial bureau (the Match.com of its day) leads to Abner getting into hot water with the missus. Two Broken Arms aired on my pre-birthday, making its debut exactly forty years before I did.

Lum and Abner, Set #2 (1/18/35-1/31/35)
The Pine Ridge Matrimonial Bureau (1/18/35)
Mail For The Matrimonial Bureau (1/21/35)
Reading The Mail (1/22/35)
Matrimonial Bureau Moves (1/23/35)
Telegram For Abner (1/24/35)
Abner To Meet Hortense (1/25/35) **
Is Abner Having An Affair (1/30/35)
Two Broken Arms (1/31/35)

**Partial (all material that is known to exist)
