The Pro From Dover – Episode 04 (10/22/12)

1:34:03

This fourth and final installment of The Pro from Dover is part of an audio project that began in July. The three previous recordings were all released on The Overnightscape Underground. At the time there was a reason for not posting the audio through the Scottlo Radio Blog but for the life of me, I can’t now remember what the reason was.

Looking back, I remember the excitement I found in discovering a community of like-minded audio enthusiasts. I continue to enjoy listening to recordings put out by several of the ONSUG people and hope to be able to begain participating in P.Q. Ribber’s fun and awesome weekly Overnightscape Central program.

But as evidenced by this current recording which was recorded over a period of three months in three different continents, I don’t know whether or not I’ll be able to produce any audio with any degree of regularity. I’m finding that things remain up in the air.

As mentioned above, this will be the final Pro From Dover episode. The orginal premise to document a series of transitions was a bit muddled to begin with. And now that those transitions have been gotten trough, undocumented for the most part, there seems to be no point to continue under this label. I must confess, as a small satisfaction, that I was able to salvage enough audio from certain moments over this period to minimally fulfill the orginal premise.

Looking ahead, I continue to wonder what to do next on the web – with audio or otherwise. Personally, I’m really tired with the unscripted rambling that I’ve done for the past several years. Sometimes something listenable results but most times not so much. I think I’ve got a couple of pretty compelling project ideas. If I can pull something together, it will get posted here.

Until then, thanks for listening and please stand by.
